Dismantle Poplar Tree in Urchfont
Trevor and Matt have joined the team this week and it was “in at the deep end” with a dismantle of a large Poplar Tree in Urchfont followed by a large tidy up…
The tree had become too large for its position close to the house.  Urchfont is north of the Salisbury Plain and south east of Devizes.
Post and rail Secret Valley Devizes
Some post and rail we erected in the Secret Valley Devizes that we did a week or so ago. This was a joint effort by the tree division landscaping team and our fencing team. Our remit was to tidy and enhance thus we erected 50m post and rail and a gate. This has to be one of the prettiest villages I’ve ever worked in.

It had to come down for safety reasons as, during a survey, we found a large crack.
Security Fencing in Sturminster Marshall, Dorset
We tendered for the supply and erection of 200m of security fencing in Sturminster Marshall, Dorset around a new Wessex Water Compound towards the end of last year and were awarded the contract.
The fence needed to be 2.1m high with several gates constructed of galvanised 358 “prison” mesh which was then powder coated in green to satisfy planners.
The work was started and completed in March 2017.

Ludwell comes within Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs area of outstanding beauty.
For details of all our tree surgery work please see our page here.
Tree reduction Chapmanslade
Matt and Geoff reduced an ash tree across 3 gardens in Champmanslade, Westbury this month. The large multi-stem ash had become too large for its position and was presenting a problem to the nearby houses, so a reduction of 25% of the crown was carried out to reduce the wind sail effect when in leaf and give the gardens some extra light.
